The
Fatal Vision Program has been designed to be integrated into the high school
environment. The program is mainly indoors with activities supervised by the
teachers, volunteers and public safety officers as well as the School Resource
Officers.
Our goal is to provide a simulated
preventive alcohol awareness program geared to our youth that provides drinking
and driving education. Giving them the hands on education of a real life situations.
“So they can make the right choice”
The central tool in
the program is the Fatal Vision Goggles. Here we can test the
hand-eye coordination with the Goggles, along with other teaching tools. The
activities consists of wearing Fatal Vision goggles and the Fatal reactions
program while performing everyday tasks such as writing, picking up keys, setting
up dominos, balancing a ball on a tennis racket, etc. making the lesson clear.
"If you can't perform two simple tasks while distracted, you must limit
the distractions".
